In our group we have come up with some ideas for our main brief. We have settled on the idea that we think would be suitable.
Two or three friends hear the news that someone has died or been murdered in their local town however they do not believe the news. They decide that they should go to investigate in order to see if this news is correct. By walking towards the so called crime scene they see some clues which indicate that the rumours are true eg. signs of struggle, perhaps blood. They hunt for the body and start to film it for themselves. They eventually find the body but unaware to them they have captured the image of the victims body/spirit watching them.
By doing this we can use a variety of camera angles including P.O.V shot (when they are filming themselves), shot/reverse shot, 180 degree rule and match on action. We can also use our editing skills to make some of the clips look home-made (used on a video recorder) as well as professional cameras.
My role is to help the others in my group film, edit the film along with the assistance of Olivia and help direct. I will also be a character in the film.
